We’d like to congratulate the University of Missouri Extension Office for an outstanding presentation of the St. Louis Storytelling Festival. We had excellent turnout and some of the best “rock star” talent in the country for our event. St. Louis Gateway Storytellers is proud to be one of the sponsors of the festival.
Our next meeting will be held on May 26th at the Crown Center. A business meeting with light potluck dinner is held for members at 6:00 PM. Storytelling begins at 7:00 PM, and generally runs until 8:30 PM. Visitors and guests are always welcome. We like to have tellers, but we love to have listeners.
A smaller Story Swap is held on the second Monday of each month, housed by the St. Charles City-County Library McClay branch. Time is 6:30 to 8 or 8:30, held at 2760 McClay Road in St. Charles, MO. This is a great event for telling in front of a small handful of people, or for testing/pacing new material.
